What RareStack does
Keep a local collection
Your collection and searches are stored locally by default. RareStack does not automatically sync or back up your collection to a cloud account.
Share only what you select
Public sharing is optional and sends only the card content you choose. A CardSight photo upload happens only after a separate consent choice for that scan.
Scanner privacy
Local first, explicit upload
- ML Kit OCR and the bounded visual fingerprint working image are processed on your device.
- If local matching is not enough, CardSight is offered as an optional next step.
- RareStack asks for consent every time before creating and uploading a resized, metadata-free JPEG.
- Choosing Cancel sends nothing and does not use a scan credit.

Build 12 access
No advertising interruptions
Build 12 is ad-free. It has no rewarded or interstitial advertising, and there are no advertising-based scan credits.
RareStack Plus provides up to 25 scans per day, subject to the current limits shown in the app and its store listing.
