CardSight Upload Terms

1. A separate choice every time

CardSight is not part of the automatic local scan. If local matching does not identify a card, RareStack may present an upload choice. No prior choice is carried forward to a later scan.

Selecting I Agree & Upload confirms that you accept these terms for that image. Selecting Cancel returns without an upload and without using a scan credit.

2. What RareStack prepares and sends

• After consent, RareStack creates a resized JPEG and removes image metadata before transmission.
• That resized, metadata-free JPEG is uploaded to CardSight.
• The separate visual fingerprint working copy used for local matching has a maximum side of 900 px and is not transmitted.
• Temporary scanner files are cleaned up on a best-effort basis.

3. CardSight processing

CardSight may process or retain the uploaded JPEG under its own policies. It may use the upload for operation, service improvement, research or training.

CardSight may also receive IP, network, request, device, software and diagnostic metadata associated with the request. Review the CardSight Privacy Policy and CardSight Terms before uploading.

4. Your confirmations

By selecting I Agree & Upload, you confirm that:

• you are at least 18 and have the legal capacity to agree;
• you own the image or have every permission and licence needed to submit it and authorize the described processing;
• the image contains no Sensitive Data; and
• the image contains no Personal Information about any person under 18.

Do not upload an image if any confirmation is untrue.

5. Prohibited use

You must not use RareStack or CardSight to:

• scrape or harvest service output or underlying data;
• reverse engineer the service or attempt to derive non-public methods or source code;
• bypass authentication, rate limits, security measures or other access controls;
• resell CardSight output or underlying data; or
• create, train or maintain a database that competes with CardSight.

6. Upload deletion requests and limitations

CardSight controls its own systems and retention. A request concerning an upload is subject to CardSight’s policies, applicable law, verification and technical feasibility. Webzoom cannot guarantee removal beyond the rights and limits that apply to CardSight.

Deletion may be limited for information that can no longer reasonably be linked to the requester, including de-identified or aggregated information, and for model-derived results that cannot reasonably be separated. Legal, fraud-prevention, security or backup-retention duties may also limit or delay deletion.
