RareStack · Account and data deletion

Delete your RareStack account

The primary deletion method is inside RareStack. It removes the signed-in account through an authenticated sequence and cleans data owned by that account.

Primary method

Profile > Delete account

Open RareStack, sign in to the account you want to delete, then use this path and follow the confirmation steps. Email support is available for help, but it is not the primary deletion mechanism.

1. Apps covered

2. Guest mode and local-only data

Guest mode does not create a remote RareStack account. Collection and search data are local by default and are not automatically synchronized. Guest/local-only data can be removed with the app’s local data controls or by uninstalling the app.

For a signed-in account, the deletion sequence performs owner-scoped local cleanup so that it removes data associated with that account rather than unrelated local owners.

3. What the signed-in deletion sequence does

  1. Authenticate the request. RareStack requires a current signed-in user and uses a verified Firebase token for protected remote cleanup.
  2. Reauthenticate Apple when required. Sign in with Apple accounts may require fresh Apple reauthentication. The fresh Apple authorization code is kept only in memory.
  3. Complete required Apple revocation. Required Apple authorization revocation happens before Firebase Authentication deletion.
  4. Delete authenticated public shares. The verified request authorizes deletion of public-share content owned by that account through the Worker.
  5. Delete the Qonversion customer server-side. The Worker resolves the Qonversion customer for the verified user and requests deletion without relying on a customer identifier supplied by the client.
  6. Delete the Firebase account. After required upstream cleanup, RareStack deletes the Firebase Authentication user.
  7. Confirm remote completion. Remote account deletion is fail-closed: RareStack does not report the deletion as completed unless the required remote deletion steps have succeeded or the relevant remote records are already absent.
  8. Prepare and perform local cleanup. After remote deletion is confirmed, RareStack writes a durable, owner-scoped pending-cleanup marker before starting fallible cleanup of that owner’s local device records.

4. Local cleanup marker and startup retry

If local cleanup does not finish, the durable marker remains and RareStack retries only that owner-scoped local device cleanup at startup.

5. Cancel subscriptions separately

Deleting your RareStack account does not cancel an active subscription. Use the store where you purchased RareStack Plus:

Manage Apple App Store subscriptions Manage RareStack Plus on Google Play

6. CardSight uploads

CardSight controls images previously uploaded after consent under its own systems and policies. Account deletion does not create a guarantee beyond the deletion-request rights and limitations described in the CardSight Upload Terms.

7. Support fallback

If you cannot access the in-app deletion control or need help with a pending cleanup, contact webzoom.studio@gmail.com. Support may need to verify account ownership before discussing protected account data. Do not send passwords, sign-in codes, tokens, payment details or card images.
